FAQ
We create vector maps as art maps for print use. This print workflow uses raw data without a map server its own, which would be necessary for on demand styling and export. We are currently focusing on the development of new graphics formats, but we might enable immediate export at some point in the future.
Recently, vector maps with text have become available. We also create street names in addition to our Custom Vetor Map Service. The naming is done in two levels according to the weighting of major and minor roads.
Do not hesitate to enrich your card with the relevant information you require.
The underlying data of the preview map and the vector map may vary in terms of publication time and level distinction. We guarantee a 95% match of the delivered end product and the preview map.
No, we do not create individual map styles on request.
Our map renderings are based on the Open Streetmap contributor database ODbL. ODbL has a concept called “Produced Work”. If you add rendered map data to your own design, you may wish to use “Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors”.
Note: All maps licenced as produced work under Open Database Licence (ODbL) 1.0. You are free to use the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially. If you plan to resell the map on a print in addition to our licensing options, you will need to specify an appropriate credit such as © OpenStreetMap contributors.
